This event is 100% DIY. We rely on people in the scene getting the word out.. Please help by sharing 🙂

Friday 14th November @ Rebellion, Manchester M1 5WZ

So here we are again.. another fundraiser for mutual aid groups in Palestine. It’s taken quite a while to sort a date out so in the meantime we’ve been selling t-shirts and donating to Reviving Gaza. You can get them via the Manchester Punks for Palestine instagram or Punks for Palestine fb.

We understand things are tight for everyone so we’ve tried to keep the ticket price as low as possible – but if you can afford to and haven’t had the chance to donate yet, please consider buying one of the Solidarity tickets.

Autonomads

https://autonomads.bandcamp.com/

Manchester’s own politically charged Dub-punk-ska that will make you want to dance. Well-known from their early days in the squat party / festival scene and back again from last years fundraiser. The whole idea started with us ambushing Paul so we asked them to come back again.

Denim & Leather

https://denimandleather.bandcamp.com/

Raw power hardcore punk from Greater Manchester.. these lot blew us away first time we watched them and been trying get them play the gig for ages since they got back together.

Bossmags

https://themightybossmags.bandcamp.com

Energetic blend of ska, punk, jazz with synths and lots of brass and theatrics – not to be missed! They owned MPF.

Holiday

https://holiday.bandcamp.com

Happy sounding melodic pop punk about generally miserable things.. They had to take a break for quite a few years but mega eager to get back on it to help raise funds for the cause.

Grail Guard

https://grailguard.bandcamp.com

Politically on point hardcore punk from Coventry/Nuneaton – been on our radar for a while due to their very vocal support of the Palestinian cause – these opened YES on Sunday at MPF and completely packed the place out

Afterparty

Your ticket for the gig will allow entry to this after party. In addition, we will be selling a limited amount of after party only tickets – with more available on the door if capacity allows. Full details of the afterparty lineup to be released soon.

Previous fundraiser Saturday 31st August 2024

Our last concert raised more than 5 grand in a night for a variety of mutual aid projects in Gaza. For more information on who we donated to, click here

An evening of punk, dub, ska, anti-folk… and more – in aid of a very important cause. All the bands are playing for free to raise money for grass roots Palestinian organisations helping people on the ground in Gaza. Rebellion have been amazing in providing free venue hire and sound etc so 100% of the money raised will be going direct to causes we are trying to help.

Crywank

https://www.facebook.com/crywanktheband

Anti-folk folk punk celebs from Manchester.  ‘Unofficial’ world record holders for the most gigs played in different cities in 24 hours 😉 Have toured all over half the known world – but will be entertaining us for one night… This will be their more upbeat set with Dan on drums.

Autonomads

The return of Manchester’s anarcho punk heros! Politically charged Dub-punk-ska that will make you want to dance. Well-known from their early days in the squat party / festival scene.

Harijan

Another time served and well loved band of the Manchester punk scene… playing heavy, edgy ska-punk infused with reggae, dub, ragga and metal riffs.

Gurnal Gadafi

https://www.facebook.com/gurnalgadafi

Manchester pingercore legends fusing hardcore punk with heavy beats and spoken word poetry.

Minimal Faff

Relatively new 3 piece punk outfit, so little faff they don’t seem have a fb page 😃

Deansgate train station is literally above the venue.. we will do all we can to get bands finished for the last train but Dan from Crywank is playing with prangers before hand so they may go on a little later than planned. Will update closer to the date!

DJs on till late afterwards 🙂

General Vibesman – Dub Reaktion / Black Star Dub collective
Firdos – An eclectic set of dub and reggae with classics as well as rare tracks

There will also be Info stalls by local Palestinian solidarity groups providing more information on how to get involved in protesting the ongoing genocide. We will be releasing more information about the specific groups we aim to donate to over the coming weeks. If you’d like more information follow No one in Particular Promo on instagram or facebook.
